The kids loved the new play area, and our stay felt spacious and warm. We enjoyed nearby hiking, making it a great adventure for our family. The nearby clubhouse provided a chill spot with drinks and games after our excursions.
My children wanted more kitchen utensils for easier meals.

My journey from doubt to delight
The caravan was very modern, with a good sized shower and plenty of hot water available! Plus, the staff were extraordinarily nice and helpful during our stay!
We faced struggles with the pitch layout. crammed positions made it hard to set up comfortably and caused real frustration.

Had a proper boss time! The caravan was dead clean and spacious, perfect after a long day at Beamish. The staff were sound, made us feel welcome. Just a downside with the pitches being a bit sloped, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

A Memorable Stay with Room for Improvement
Had a lovely time despite a few hiccups! The spacious clubhouse served great food, and meeting other families was a highlight. Remember to bring your own essentials, like towels and cleaning supplies. Pay attention to WiFi limitations. it’s hit or miss! a cozy stay.

The caravan we stayed in had a surprisingly good amount of space for two people, felt cozy, and was stocked with hot water for showers after a long day. Plus, with a solid TV reception, we could catch up on some shows in the evenings, which was a nice touch after our adventures.
Unfortunately, we faced quite a few niggles. The noise from neighboring caravans was pretty disruptive, especially when a late-night party nearby went on until nearly 3 a.m. The hygiene left much to be desired, as the caravan felt distinctly unclean upon arrival, and not having bedding provided was a real headache, especially for those traveling without a car. The Wi-Fi simply didn’t work for us at all, so we had to scout for alternatives, which added to our communication woes. There was also a lack of basic essentials like washing up liquid or extra toilet roll, which felt very much like oversight in preparation.

We stayed in a caravan for 3 nights, and it was really cozy! The place was warm and had plenty of hot water, which was great after a long day at Beamish. Good TV reception too! There was enough room for the two of us—felt spacious. Just a heads up though, getting there involves climbing a steep hill if you plan to walk, so maybe not the best idea after all that walking!
